The Ring Ring Book was born of necessity. My five year old daughter, (who is now 12), continually wanted to phone her grandparents around dinner time every day. As all parents know, this is the busiest part of our day. To save me continually telling her their phone number I created a basic, homemade prototype of the Ring Ring Book. It took encouragement from friends for me to see this book could benefit other families. During the creative process, I became acutely aware of the educational application of the Ring Ring Book.

Educational Purpose:

The educational objectives of the Ring Ring Book are for children to:

•    Learn how to confidently and autonomously use a phone.

•    Learn how to potentially save a life by knowing how to phone 000.

•    Recognise the numerals 0 – 9.

•    Begin memorising phone numbers of loved ones.

•    Have fun while learning.
